Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain

Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain

Created in 1984, the role of the Fondation Cartier is to help support, and to raise public awareness of, contemporary art. As an instrument that artists can use to create and exhibit their work, and a meeting-place for all forms of corporate sponsorship in France. The Fondation has been committed to building up a collection of work by living artists that is a reflection of the age in which we live and of the conflicting currents, singular approaches and highly individualised figures that underly the eclecticism and diversity of the art of today. The collection today covers every domain of art, from painting, video and drawing, to photography, sculpture and monumental installations.
